The area is rich in natural beauty. Just walk the trails of the Chapada to find irresistible waterfalls, caves of crystal blue waters, wells and delightful countless valleys with lush landscapes.
Besides the impressive natural attractions, the Chapada Diamantina, preserves historic cities, is linked to diamonds, and has a very interesting culture full of legends and stories.
In this three-day circuit, you will experience the most exciting tours and see six attractions: Marimbus, Rio Roncador, Xique-Xique of Igatú, Cachoeira do Buracão, and the magic Poço Azul. You will also get to see the swamps in the backwoods that shelter many species of fauna and flora.

Arrival in Lençóis, sleep in a hotel, and activities begin the following morning.
Day 1-Leave Lençóis at 8:30 am, heading for the Marimbus ("Pantanal" of the Chapada)
First part - Two hour trip by boat and after this a 25 minutes walk to the river "Roncador".
Second part - Stop at the river "Roncador", a place of bathing with hydro massage, waterfalls, caldrons and natural pools. Break to have a snack.
Third part - Off-Road, taking the old mining trail in the direction of Andaraí, continuing the trip to the charming village of "Xique-Xique de Igatú" (ghost city)
Dinner and an overnight stay at the "Pousada de Igatú".
Day 2 -After having breakfast (8:30 am) the trip continues further to the Waterfall "Buracão" in Ibicoara, passing by the Byzantine cemetery in the town of Mucugê along the way.
To reach Ibicoara involves a 100 km drive and then an additional 30 km of road (with beautiful scenery) until the tour arrives at the river "Espalhado".
Then it's time for a one-hour walk, passing along many waterfalls, until you reach the final destination, the "Buracão"- an impressive waterfall of 85 m. It's a beautiful trek through the canyon to reach the pool where you can take a bath and have a snack.
Dinner and an overnight stay at the "Pousada de Mucugê".
Day 3 - After breakfast, the tour commences to the Project Sempre-viva, seat of studies and scientific research of fauna and flora, conservation and management of flowers currently threatened with extinction. Later the tour proceeds to Poço Azul - this cave has very crystalline water in calcareous sediments that turns a lovely blue under the sun's reflection. Late afternoon, the tour returns to Lençóis.
