The tour begins at 8 and the first stop is the Impossible Farm (57 km) where you can have a snack break. Then comes a walk of 3.5 km to the Waterfall of Mosquitos, the name given to small diamonds found in the region. The land is almost level, with some stretches of sand and stones. Only near the waterfall, you will find a steep descent, with approximately 300 steps, facilitated by handrails.

The tour heads to the Waterfall do Descanso for refreshments - homemade lunch, coffee and dessert and some time for rest. In the afternoon, the tour visits the Archaeological Complex of the Serra das Paridas, with ancient cave paintings dating, according to archaeologists. At sunset it is time to return to Lençóis, where the tour should be back by 18.00 hours.

Cancellation policy

For cancellations received up to five days before the tour: 70% of the value returned.

For cancellations in a period of less than five days or no-show: no value returned.

Children Policy

For children, approval is required. There is a 30% discount for children up to eight years of age.

Participant Guidelines

The route may be changed due to weather conditions or logistics that endanger the lives of visitors. To facilitate access and appreciation of the paintings, handrails have been placed around the caves in the archaeological sites. The guides have undergone specialised training in partnership with the Federal University of Bahia, City and Municipal Schools. Excavations will soon begin at the Complex.

Other Disclosures

This tour is conducted with the formation of groups of at least four people. In the Complex, groups of up to ten people are permitted at a time with an interval of at least 15 minutes between one group and another.

Cars visiting the Complex are permitted only with an accredited driver who has done a course in Archaeology. The Agency can help you find a qualified driver.
