Pousada do Capão

The Pousada do Capão has apartments with fridge, fan, telephone, hot shower and balcony with hammock. Steam sauna, game room, massage room, shop with convenience and products Chapada, TV room (Sky subscription) and full-bar are also available. Situated in an area of 40,000 m2 of gardens, the lodge also has the capon, natural pool in the river safe, organic garden, nature trail area for sport and a gorgeous view of the Capon Valley with its mountains that are part of the Park Chapada Diamantina National.

Capon Valley has unique characteristics. Located at 1000m altitude, it has its own micro climate of the valleys that lie between inhospitable general, like the Valley Paty, which together with the capon were the places where the miners are supplies of food produced in the region in ancient times. These villages were part of the routes of animals and men working throughout the region in search of the diamond. Pousada do Capão is located in Vale do Capão (Capão Valley). The valley is 21 km from the city of Palmeiras. The access to Capão from Pameiras is on a dirt road.
