Afternoon: From 3:00 pm - By Car - to Morro do Pai Inácio with the setting sun. One of the most beautiful landscapes of the Chapada Diamantina. Overnight in Lençóis.
Day 2 - After breakfast, around 8:30 am, we will leave for the Tour of the Caves. This consists of renting a vehicle, about 20km from Lençóis, to Rio Mucugezinho and Poço do Diabo, where the pools and waterfalls are suitable for bathing. Then, we will go to Lapa Doce Cave speleothems; crossing this area takes about 1h. Then we will go about 9 km and arrive at the Pratinha Cave with transparent waters, which is a result of limestone formations. On this site, people can practice floating with masks and snorkels, and Tyrolean, both optional. Shortly after, we will go to the Blue Grotto, with stunning blue waters. Overnight in Caeté-Açú (Capão Valley).
Day 3 - After breakfast, around 8:30 am we will leave to the Waterfall of Fumaça, one of the three major waterfalls of the country, with a free fall of about 400m. The water usually evaporates into cloud-like vapor beore its waters can reach the ground . In the afternoon, the group will return to Lençóis where we will stay overnight.
Day 4 - After a hearty morning breakfast, at 8:30 am we will leave for the ride to Marimbus (wetland to the Chapada - we were pioneers of this tour 12 years ago). The group will descend two hours in a rowboat to where the Rio San Antonio meets the beautiful Rio Roncador. Guests will enjoy bubble baths in potholes and waterfalls then, in the late afternoon, we make an off-road excursion by the old mining road up Andarai. In this city, we will go to Xique-Xique of Igatu (Ghost Town), where dinner will be served and the group will sleep in a cosy pousada.
Day 5 - After a fancy breakfast, we have two options, both departing at 8:30 am
1st - Walk for a peaceful stroll, lasting around 2 hours and heading to the Ramp of Cain, where we can contemplate a beautiful view. The return trip will take about the same amount of time
2nd - See the waterfalls, ruins and Museum of the Swamp Well do Brejo in Igatu.
Dinner and overnight in-Xique of Igatu.
Day 6 - After breakfast, around 8:30 am we will depart for the Waterfall Buracão, passing first by the Byzantine Cemetery in Mucugê; which is 100 km from Ibicoara, a town near the waterfall. On the way, we will walk for 30 km down a dirt road with beautiful scenery to Rio Espalhado. Then, we will walk 1h through several waterfalls until Buracão, whose access to the well is through a trail in a canyon. There people can take a bath and enjoy some snacks. By late afternoon, we will go to Mucugê where we will stay overnight.
Day 7 - We take breakfast and at 8:30 and then we will go to Project Sempre-Viva, which is based on studies and scientific research of fauna and flora, conservation and management of evergreens, and flowers currently threatened with extinction. Later, we go to Poço Azul - this cave has crystal clear water in calcareous sediments that under the glare of the sun become so blue; guests can take a bath here. Lunch on site. Late afternoon, return to the Lençóis.
Day 8 - Free day - or walk (3km) for Ribeirao do Meio
